    Pros

Cheap health insurance for the family. Low stress at times and there isn't much super tight deadlines to meet. Friendly people and management eager to "help".

    Cons

This is all related to IT side. Very substandard pay, almost 20k below industry standard for certain jobs. Management has no idea what they are doing. Managers believe they don't need to know IT to manage. Vendors are BSing them to spend money like crazy, and because they don't know IT, they take it at face value and does not negotiate. Then they have no money left to give anyone raises or promotions. Spent hundreds of millions on one system that does 10% of the original system they are trying to replace and it still doesn't work. The original cost a total of 5% of the cost of the new project. After all this, management still think they don't need to know IT. Vendors are driving maserati's into work (as a commuter car). Almost all projects are mismanaged, they have no idea why, but refuse to move people around or listen to people who gives them advice. Middle management (including directors) will try to listen to you, but it stops there, it doesn't get passed up to the VP or CIO. They don't know what to do with that advice and they won't want to look stupid by asking a step by step instruction, so they hire vendors to tell them what to do and listens to the vendors on EVERYTHING, including times when vendors cannot provide working codes / prototypes to back up anything they charge for.

    Advice to Management

Find technical people who are business and management savvy, you would've saved at least 300 million on that project. I could've gotten a team out of HCA and pulled it off for 200 mil. Move your management team around (like fire the ones who have no clear vision or idea on what they are doing or they can't figure out what's wrong, let other people who can manage, manage). The entire IT side is badly, super badly managed and run, if this was a separate company, it would've went bankrupt 2 years ago.

    Pros

    Great benefits and competitive pay

    Cons

Inconsistent and uneven application of HR and operational policies; constant changes devoid of logic and reason; Senior management is short sighted and lack strategic vision and demonstrate rampant favoritism for associates and managers alike. Promotional, training and growth opportunities are lacking.

    Pros

Work Hard, but have fun doing it culture. Always evolving and changing environment, which allows employees to think outside of the box to accomplish projects. The leadership teams are focused on employee development and have a promote from within mindset. Benefits are great and above industry average.

    Cons

Fast pace and never ending change is difficult for some. Approval process is very lengthy and slows down completion of key tasks.

    Advice to Management

Leadership needs to allow employees more autonomy to get the work done - trust employees to accomplish their goals and objectives effectively and efficiently.

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work here except it's a job and helps pay your bills

    Cons

Too Korean of a company. Lots of fire drills. No compassion for their employees. Management is very poor. It's the worst employment experience ever.

    Advice to Management

Quit and start all over again. Get a good CEO and stick with it. You have had 5 CEO's in 5 years!!!
