    Lack of recognition
Politics will play a important role
    Favoritism to nearest or dearest
Working hours are pathetic & workaholics
No Standard Policies or procedures at site level
Always discriminate while providing facilities in between Koreans & Local/Third country nation worker's

Korean manpower are sub-standard as compared to local qualified personnel
Korean Salaries & welfare facilities are much higher than 10 times as compared to local Salary trends

Liquors are a tool to relax & they're enjoying at Company's cost
Regular - weekly, monthly, frequent parties for their own Korean employee's at Company's cost

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Site level management behaves like they're whole & sole, as Company is there own
Misuse of Company money/ welfare facilities by Korean Employee's at large
Always target local Employee's welfare facilities & salaries as their cost saving tool

Former Employee - Mechanical Engineer in Seoul (South Korea)

I worked at Hyundai Engineering and Construction full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Salary is quiet much. Moreover, you can expect bonus when company's profit is high that can reach almost 20% of your yearly salary.

    2. If you want, you might be sent to job site and get more salary.

    3. You can improve yourself as an EPC engineer when you work at engineering related department. And you can also experience challenge.

    Cons

    1. You must work very very hard. Going to the office at 8 in the morning and you have to stay 6 pm although you will sign the labor contract stating working hour as 8:00~17:30. More seriously, it is very grateful if you can work only at 6pm. Too much workload that makes you stay the office till deep in night.

    2. Short vacation. Only 5 days a year is given to its employees as an official vacation.
