Current Employee - Software Engineer in Yongin, Kyonggi (South Korea)

I have been working at Hyundai Heavy Industries full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Not many SW experts so you can develop SW without any abuse from others and make any important development decision what you want.
This firm provide 2 paid weeks vacation in summer which is distinguished benefit in Korea.

    Cons

Fixed work time (work time begins at 8:00 am), R&D Center is on a mountain in suburb area. Too strict but wear regulations on security.
Most downside of this company is that your boss man not be able to point which is important point or make any decision for any strategies and the schedule is depending on the number (3, 6, 9, 12 months), not on the procedure or any situations. They just report the schedule for the priors (no negotiation with members) and push even though it is unrealistic.
