Advice to Senior Management
The employees need to get paid more all around its not a sweat shop around the entire world and add some more luxury.
Pros
- Great compensation package (Full 100% covered benefits, RRSP, Discounted Lease/Finance Program for Employees and their Family, Tuition Reimbursement, Vacation, Sick Days, Personal Days)
- Great working environment that fosters open communication and collaboration. You are expected to act professional but the environment is so welcoming you forget you are a part of a large and leading automotive corporation
- Currently Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. is a leader within the automotive Canadian market and it has created a positive and enjoyable work setting
- Everyone knows your name and birthdays are not only remembered but celebrated amongst your colleagues
Cons
- Work can sometimes be redundant, but it cames with the nature of my particular position
Advice to Senior Management
- Hopefully include more females within the management demographic, which is traditionally not common in Automotive settings
- Employ individuals outside the automotive exclusively or who have not simply worked their way up from the mail room per se
Pros
-A great place to start a career
-the salary is alright
Cons
-Low pay rises ,
-Chaotic culture.
-Non-Existent HR is the main problem
Pros
1. good remuneration and powerful labor union that always tries to protect the interest of the employees
2. Inter-department communication is good. And overall relationship between employess are good, too.
Cons
Senior management is all parachuted in by the chairperson of Hyundai Group, which is different from Hyundai Motors Group or Hyundai Heavy Industrial Group. On good sides, they are lenient towards employees, which is partly due to the strong union. On bad sides, they don't know anything about the business they take charge of.
Advice to Senior Management
Do not play with the organizational structure. While you may benefit from some changes in it, you are actually driving out good loyal employees.
Pros
One of the only Auto companies that has been steadily improving on all fronts; Sales, Quality, Resale Value, Style, Popular demand.
Cons
Other Sales Reps can be a bit too greedy and go behind others backs.
Advice to Senior Management
Managing and ordering are different. *only directed to a select few
Pros
1. You can expect light workload.
2. Managers don't know well your work. So you can have more time for a task.
Cons
1. There is no reward for your effort
2. Managers don't know well your work. So sometimes they need impossible due date

Pros
The paycheck isn't bad. Some fellow workers are a little quirky but are good to work with. The cars are excellent.
Cons
Management needs to brush up on people skills to better motivate employees and obtain positive results. A better benefit package would be nice.
