    Pros

    People, product and concept. Looking forward to the Healthcare spinoff.

    Leadership is finally turning around from a nightmarish 3 years under KC leadership.

    I have been working at I-Flow full-time

    Pros

    Great product, aimed at helping consumers who are getting surgery and helping hospitals to save money. Company recently had excellent FDA review, lots of focus on quality. Spin-off could create opportunity.

    Cons

    Focus on quality is needed to clean up historical documentation. Company is part of Kimberly-Clark Health Care which is being spun off from KC. This will create lots of change and confusion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Build Trust, needing to know everything or be involved in everything can be demoralizing to experienced professionals. Give employees direction and get out of the way. If someone makes a comment about an employee, listen and gather facts, then ask the employee about it. Don't take others words as gospel until you know the facts. Things aren't always going to be perfect, but trust that your employees are making the choices they believe are the best for the business.

    multicultural workforce, nice people, lots of work to do

    Cons

    many new systems due to new KC systems, negative management at leadership level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    For the GM, the negative approach of "it will not be like this next year..." does not inspire, it does not provide a vision of where we will be, try a positive view or plan on losing.

    Pay is a problem at the company.

    Get real about appropriate pay to attract and more importantly to retain employees. The pay at I-Flow is below the area and industry.

    Pros

    the company has a good benefits package, lots of flexibility, and excellent resources to support product sales. management provides as much support as possible.

    Cons

    the cons of this job were...my long term goals are not to be involved in medical sales. creating a target list and constantly revising is not my forte.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    there has to be a way to better communicate with hundreds of people all over the country. email, conference calls with tms.
