I am not hapy with so many processes to follow. I need to prove that I am working hard to get promotion. It is too painful.

You need to create your own visibility. If you have a good manager your are all good.

good work life balance in some cases,specially for females. In telecom service provider it is not so good though. good company to work for, but only if you want to say till retirement

bad or no salary hike. no growth is there even after working for multiple years . incompetent management at the top( whose only achievment is -staying in the same company for 10-15 years and thus reaping the benefits of organisation expansion)

Should focus more on compensation review. Ensure that appropriate delivery model is followed and no adhoc basis work. Enforce quality delivery.

Maturity levels vary in internal business unit, some can be lower on the maturity scale
Once you adjust to large organizations and the processes that are followed, its very difficult to adjust to smaller and more nimble organizations.

Invest in those demonstrating leadership capabilities and potential for larger roles.
Invest in those who demonstrate an appetite for higher complexity assignments
Invest in those who chose to stay loyal over short term market fluctuations
