Pros
A diverse set of roles are available for those looking to move within the company.
Significant opportunity to work with other Fortune 500 companies and clients.
Cons
The relative ranking system is now causing solid workers to be flagged as poor performers; someone has to do the grunt work.
Extremely difficult to move between software group brands or to different divisions.
Advice to Senior Management
Scrap the current individual relative ranking system for now in favor of a team based performance system combined with a 360 performance feedback for individuals leading to a blended performance result.
Significantly change the performance metric system every 5 years.

Resources upon resources at your disposal to learn the technology, markets and develop your selling skills. Great place to learn the business and develop professionalism and experience for enterprise technology sales.

i think they can try to reduce the time for process, since this is a very old company their processing system need to be discussed

Challenging work. Fantastic People. Many different career paths. Opportunity to work with colleagues and clients around the globe. Leadership training. Working for talented, experienced individuals.

The biggest downside is the lack of autonomy -- at the individual level, the dept, even the country level. This can stifle innovation and personal growth. Lack of recognition and fun.

Look for ways to allow employees more freedom and support to do new things -- take risks. And recognize them for doing so.

- A happy worker is a productive worker, so if salaries are fixed, then other perks should be offered
- Bottom up management rather than top down
