Assistant Manager-Corporate Payment Solution, Bangalore. Worked for 2.5 years. Started as a fresher.

Relationship Manager (Former Employee) Bangalore (India)

ProsGreat place to be mentored for a fresher
Corporate sales team has the best of the talent
    Seniors are good mentors
No use of foul language and abuses
Job security and additional perks in terms of banking services
    Co-workers are great

    ConsHikes and bonuses are poor
    Appraisal process is... Vague!
Huge pressure in terms of targets and crisis management
A full year of hard work and results is useless if you cannot deliver in Feb-March as that is the time when ratings happen.
RH has the final say in ratings and he/she will handle multiple product and end up comparing people from different verticals with same yardstick.
A corporate sales manager has to hear things like "Credit/Loan teams work till midnight, you people leave by 7PM... Where is the commitment?"

Advice to Senior ManagementBe a little more objective in reviews and look to plan for unbiased reviews and comparing apples with oranges.
