Pros
Growth will be there for those are in line with their boss views
It also depends on the kind of department you are working in.

No innovation
Long working hours
Peergroup is not so good,no professionalism among employees
Some senior management should change their attitude towards employees

Please bring in people with more professionalism
Change the attitude of employees towards the organization

Great scope of work, good exposure to different aspects of banking early into career, opportunity to interact with great minds.
Cons
Unsure of the direction in which business is heading, frequent changes in policies and strategies, ineffective communication down the chain, and evasive attitude of middle management with reportees.

management strategy is not reaching at ground level and should give more responsibilities to branch banking (different verticals should not be there)

give importance to ground level also (not only middle and upper levels)

Starters can get a very good exposure to banking industy. ICICI is the best bank in using technology and innovation. Your learn economies of scale in the bank.
Cons
The bank is rapidly loosing its reputation. Its agressive growth strategy some times makes even a rooky employee feel like" are they gone mad!!". Their over dynamism in introducing,changing.stopping products,people and procedures demotivates its employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Stick to ground realities and please understand that employees are the biggest asset of any organization. There are certain things advertisemens/publicity can't win.. like customer confidence and employee motivation.
