I have been working at ICON Health full-time

    Pros

Depends where you work and what your job title is. If you are on the line expect to be treated vastly different, verses if you work in the offices.

    Cons

The pay is not the best for line workers. Pay really depends on your job title. All pay scales are kept secret, long hours and sometimes crazy demands. Don't be surprised if you are asked to work late or work the weekends. But if you have a good position you'll not step foot into the office unless you want to. Line workers will be expected to work overtime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More time needs to be spent on valuing the workers. Treating people fairly with pay. Allowing opportunities to move up. Balance with work and family life is greatly one sided to lean towards work. Equally pay and opportunities should not be so difficult. Discounted lunches should be consideration. Food quality is not the best on campus. There isn't much room for advancement, unless you are extremely fortunate or like minded with people who are already in charge. Suggestions on improvements are not welcome and job placements and office politics are about the same as everywhere else. Not favorable towards women leadership is a general practice in the State of Utah.

    I worked at ICON Health

    Pros

It's an established company doing well in the fitness equipment industry and one of the better places to work if living in Logan.

    Cons

The pay is not great and upper management can be harsh.

    I worked at ICON Health

    Pros

Good benefits, decent pay and could be flexible with hours

    Cons

It seemed like every division was managed separately and to varying degrees. Several seemingly contradictory workplace initiatives were a struggle. Office struggles a lot with political drama, pandering and a lot of income inequality due to family ties or some unknown reason.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Transparency could help. Company strategy needs to be decided and held firm by those at the top of the organization. Communication and initiatives should be relayed clearly to meet these objectives

    Pros

Fun people to work with. Pay is decent! Great discounts

    Cons

Terribly managed. Call center manager knows nothing about product and wouldn't be able to help a customer if they called. No time off unless you call in sick but if you do that too much you lose your job. If you get out of the call center its a great place to work!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Watch out for employees. This isn't a farm, work with them.
