    I worked at IDBI Bank

    Pros

Very helpful manager who was always there to answer questions. I had left for another job opportunity but was sure an offer would have come at IDB.

    Cons

Bit of an older work environment. I was young when i worked there and would have liked to have some more people in my age group.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not much i could tell the management, my work was done pretty low down on the pay scale so I probably couldn't help.

I have been working at IDBI Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary (Govt.Owned Bank) , good number of annual leaves , annual increment

    Cons

No work culture, Poor leadership, No interdepartmental support ,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need some political analysis , the products and services are good, salary is excellent, good work-life balance but you compromise with low performance. Take away few political people and IDBI will go places.

    Pros

    Job security, Compensation, work culture

    Cons

Some branches have immense sales pressure even if you are into operations/customer service, 10 Hrs minimum work, Uncooperative HR- Do not consider requests for transfer etc

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make transfers between various verticals more easier, Please conduct exit interviews and know reasons for employees quitting the Job. Offer more opportunities for transfers- location wise and even change in verticals.

I have been working at IDBI Bank full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Salary is the only pro in this cursed bank.

    Cons

Disgusting work culture... literally slave to work and the association is no where to be seen. 2 suicides after I joined and still continuing with same work culture. I will move to other PSB even if pay is less there. At least they have active union.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You cant achieve your goals with dissatisfied workforce

I worked at IDBI Bank full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Salary is the only pros .

    Cons

Bossy attitude, lack of compassion, only profit oriented (no matter in what manner you produce the results), least cooperation among the employees, unfair and incapable bosses with no leadership qualities. Sales oriented. Even after qualifying aptitude tests such as IBPS you will be considered as a Salesman, who could sell even insurance policies of worth starting from Rs 1500/-.
Inter departmental communication and coordination is very poor. Beside being a PSU bank no consideration of talent and qualification for allotment of work and roles. Disrespectful and humiliating language is often used to create pressure on juniors. Sub-ordinate staff is treated as household slaves. Poor work mechanism which leads to blame games in many situations.

Period for Promotions is also longer in comparison to the industry.
Banking aspirants, please don't dare to join.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be professional, be human.Business will come your way.
