    I worked at IDBI Bank

    Pros

Very helpful manager who was always there to answer questions. I had left for another job opportunity but was sure an offer would have come at IDB.

    Cons

Bit of an older work environment. I was young when i worked there and would have liked to have some more people in my age group.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not much i could tell the management, my work was done pretty low down on the pay scale so I probably couldn't help.

I have been working at IDBI Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good salary (Govt.Owned Bank) , good number of annual leaves , annual increment

    Cons

No work culture, Poor leadership, No interdepartmental support ,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need some political analysis , the products and services are good, salary is excellent, good work-life balance but you compromise with low performance. Take away few political people and IDBI will go places.

Former Employee - Assistant Manager in Delhi (India)

I worked at IDBI Bank full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Better salary than other banks and also the location of branches that are mostly in metros that encouraged me to leave my job in Obc bank as po for IDBI AM profile.

    Cons

1- if you are in retail (PBG) branches in which you will be if you don't have jack than your life is hell as you are not more than a salesperson whose manager is not interested in anything but selling of policies and account opening.
2- jacks matter most in idbi to get good verticals where you work like you are in government office and earn good ( no target etc)like some verticals are- trade finance at Red Cross in Delhi , Rpu at Rajinder nagar delhi , hr at jhandewalan and credit vertical. Othwise you get pbg( personalised banking group) ie branches where you will be a salesman.
3- training is of very low quality.
4-manager /agm don't have knowledge as they join idbi when they were not geting promotion in other banks and idbi offered post of manager to people who have more than just 2 years of experience, my agm didn't know about basic of ppf account.
-many more....I left to prepare for something better as it is said if you are in idbi am or above u cn go nowhere dear .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    No need

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
