    Stable work environment with good benefits and structured entry level upward development. Statewide jobs allows for professional upward movement.

    Cons

    Very bureaucratic in relation to mandatory paperwork that often contains redundant information. Some offices are located in outdated locations in relation to the area they currently serve.

    Advice to Management

    Streamline paperwork for Phase I design studies, improve young employee development training and rotation programs.

    Really good state benefits. Lots of very professional people and experts (engineers, planners, etc) -- felt like a professional environment.

    Not enough staff to do everything we needed to.

    Hire into all those vacancies!

    easy work work/life balance flexible time off- SWEET pay decent

    Cons

    outdated technology must get everything passed by springfield in order to move forward can treat temps poorly some people think they have seniority and can treat people any which way they like.. special treatment for Civil Engineers and upper management.. if your not an engineer, your not looked at twice..

    update technology hire other employers who are not engineers allow more growth opportunities allow temps the opportunity to become permanent
