Cons – Pleasant however they expect a full days work as apart time contract and do not pay full travel allowances.

Pros – IE's very organic company structure makes it fairly simple for employees to move around the institution between departments and areas when opportunities arise. There is also an undercurrent of entrepreneurial attitude which means that any employee can develop projects of their own interest within their positions if so inclined.
Cons – The very same organic company structure makes for a lot of operational inefficiencies that often hamper good initiatives and allow politics to play too much of a role. There is also very little support structure for employees, so it's basically what you make out of it. Also, most of the employees are former students which makes for a slightly "inbred" environment.
Advice to Senior Management – Seriously consider a deep restructuring of all areas of the school as it would allow for an improved internal professionalization of the internal services it offers and would be reflected in a improvement of external services as well.

Pros – Very friendly colleagues who care about the school and its future
Rapidly growing and forward looking business program
Young and vivacious staff; very passionate and open to change
Excellent faculty overall, very high international rankings
Diversity of students from all over the world and advance educational methods
Cons – Old guard senior management not responsive to change and growth needed
Senior management lack of awareness of competition in field
Very Spanish centered
Identity lacks coherence- appears very Spanish centered although providing international curriculum
Limited campus facilities
Lack of international campuses, therefore very Europe centered
Advice to Senior Management – Need to look at aggressive international expansion
Need to listen to lower level staff about what needs to be done for greater growth
Need to provide better marketing and promotions support especially in important benchmark setting nations such as the US and UK
Need support for corporate partnerships
