    Pros

Home to some of the greatest minds in the fields of Science and Tech. in India. Great campus and amenities with in-campus residence in the heart of Bangalore

    Cons

Too much red tape. Some parts of the institute run like a typical old Indian government establishment, rife with delay, beureaucracy and corruption.

    Advice to Management

Need clear long- and medium- term goals for Institute to remain competetive and releant to the needs of Indian S&T in the future.

    Pros

Excellent Learning Environment, Great Place to self develop in a holistic manner. The environment is very green and full of trees.

    Cons

Not suitable for people who are not very self motivated. One has to be very dynamic to get things done. Nobody holds hands here.

    Advice to Management

Make the paperwork less tedious for IISc fraternity for expense and travel cost reimbursement. Please cut the red tape

I worked at IISC (More than a year)

    Pros

very inspiring to work here, since you are surrounded by highly motivated hard-working intellectual people, and you have no other go but to do your best if you have to be noticed, very good for people looking for motivation

    Cons

easy to get stuck at this place, the work can be never-ending, since it is research-oriented. Also, not a structured job, it is up to you to decide at what stage to end a project

    Advice to Management

productivity can increase a lot if there is some structure and management and maybe, day by day review meetings with the mentors
