    I have been working at IIT Bombay full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    being a researcher or post doc, u don't get any promotion, though u can start consulting. personal growth is immense. culture is really awesome people are not too pushy.

    Cons

    slow processes, lack of leadership in many areas (u have to have drive in u)

    Pros

    This was one of the best environments I have worked in .
    Awesome lab facilities .
    Cooperative mentors.
    The professors are so experienced .
    One can learn a lot here .
    It is real fun to work with these guys .

    Cons

    The stipend could have been a bit more .

    Work with best people of your age in computer engg. Friendly people, Opportunity to live in IITB campus.

    The mentors are not so experienced and most of project will be completed by your own imagination.
