Current Employee – been working at IMPAX Laboratories
Pros – coworkers are nice and they have air conditioner in the building!!
Cons – Do not work at this place! you loose your sanity!! I have been working here for more than a year.
very bad management. Most of the managers are not qualified to be a manager and they became manager by default. So many micromanagement.
Advice to Senior Management – please learn how to treat the employees!
go to management classes!

Former Employee – worked at IMPAX Laboratories
Pros – - Immediate Co-workers are, for the most part, very friendly.
- Except for one case, supervisors were generally understanding and friendly
Cons – - Terrible backbiting/gossip.
- Each group has to compete for money to get the supplies and workers they need.
- When it's time for job reviews to decide who is getting a raise, the company goes to war with itself with backstabbing and gossip in order to get a larger share of the money. People who are otherwise nice to you are quick to stab you in the back in order to secure a new file cabinet, temp, or wage raise for their department. This creates a very passive-aggressive, demoralizing environment to work in
Advice to Senior Management – - Provide your groups with enough supplies.
- Try and control gossip. It's destructive and the person gossiped about always finds out. No amount of free pizza can make someone feel good about working at a company if they find out that the leader from another department has been lying to your supervisor in order to sabotage you or your department's chances at getting an additional cardboard box or stapler.
- Treat your low-level employees with respect
