    Pros

Majority of asset managers/acquisitions/portfolio management professionals are smart and highly motivated, but perhaps equally as important, they are also good people.

    Cons

While senior leadership is strong, they could do a better job communicating the direction of the firm and express how individuals can grow within the company.

    I worked at ING Clarion

    Pros

Well recognized firm within the industry. Senior management consists of very respectable people within the industry.

    Cons

No work-life balance. People are very unfriendly and downright rude. Compensation is below industry average. People straight out tell you that you need to be there to put in facetime. No clear direction from senior management as to what's going on and what role you play in the company, short of the company wide emails telling you that they are trying to improve communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage employees to get their work done correctly and on time. Base promotions on actual performace and not hours spent at the office.
