just international experience for your CV. Nothing special, too many meetings, to much politics and intrigues. toxic working enviroment
Cons
low salary, no promotion for non-French people. most likely have to live in the office. Bad office organization and compensation package.

Pros
A job in France usually comes with full health/dental insurance, as well as a retirement fund. The benefits are great.
Some of the smartest, hardworking people around.
Cons
Some labs are crowded and there is sometimes not enough money for all reagents/projects.
Also, being a postdoc anywhere comes with a con of not being a permanent position.
Advice to Senior Management
Pump more money into basic research. It's a great asset and a way to promote France to the world.
