Flex time is great, you can either take off every other Monday or Friday off or get out early on Fridays by making up the time during the week. Also it is also dress down casual.

I have been working at IPRO part-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Interesting and purposeful work, concern for employees, flexible schedule options, fun company events (softball games, Thanksgiving pies), good team work, nice, friendly people willing to help each other, really good benefits, a lot of integrity, honest commitment to please customers and (this attitude appears to pervade the company), wellness program, very inexpensive gym in building, wellness benefit with reimbursement for 50% of $ spent (capped), great shopping center across the street, more but that's all that comes to mind at the moment :)

I have worked at IPRO for a while and I am pretty happy there. It's a good place to work, not perfect, but better than most places, I would bet. For a smaller sized company, they put a lot of effort into saying "Thanks" to staff -- holiday pies and gift cards, summer ice cream, annual softball game/picnic with family welcome. I mean how many places do those things?

Anyone who is not happy there needs to open their eyes and take a good look at them self. In general, people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

    Cons

Contract work makes for some insecurity.
Constant construction in parking lot/ garage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Thanks for all your efforts for your employees. Of course more routine information sharing is always nice -- try to look for a simple way to accomplish this.

    Pros

Wow! The last post looks to be written by a IPRO Director. Who are you kidding? Yes, a gym is available but it's so small that most of your after hours workout time is spent waiting for equipment. And the shopping across the street. What benefit is that? You have thirty minutes to walk out of the building, across a 4 lane street, through a parking lot, eat lunch, shop and be back promptly at your desk before people start talking about you being late... If you take advantage of this benefit-I'd stop before you get a reputation of being lazy. The pies and $25 holiday bonus are no great reward either. Biggest benefit is the price of coffee in the break room.

    Cons

I've been employed here for 5 years. In that time my computer hasn't been updated at all. The fax is always broken, the printer is always jammed ect.... I've got enough stress in my life than to deal with that everyday.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be happy with the employees you have. Train us if need be but don't encourage turnover.
