I have been working at ITC Infotech India for less than a year

    Pros

This company is horrific, I can't think of a single pro. Not one.

    Cons

They lied about the job description claiming it was telecommute, it was not. They didn't give me directions on how to get to the interview. They called me asking if I knew when they would get the results of the drug test they setup. They attempted to make it a 1099 contract when it was actually a w4 role and I had to point it out to them. They claimed they would offer the benefits available to them but have avoided the needed contributions with regards to the ACA and instead sent me a $700+ health insurance quote for insurance that is inferior to $150 plans available via the health exchange.

Once I started working, they didn't pay me for 5 weeks because I was unable to access their archaic timecard system, when I attempted to contact them about this they didn't return my email messages or calls.

I had to initiate and email them from multiple email accounts to get it resolved.

Then, they paid me $100 less on paychecks after the 1st and 2nd one and claimed that it had to do with taxes. I have not received stubs for the 3rd and 4th paychecks.

Then upon my resignation they're making threats. They didn't bother to contact the company they assigned me to and didn't respond to my request about who should do it, until the afternoon after I'd informed them.

I have to be honest I'm surprised a company like this is able to continue to do business in America. They are bad for the companies that hire contractors through them. Any company that uses this company is risking that the contractor will get upset for very real reasons and want to be as far away from them as possible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'd recommend shutting down completely and starting over.

I have been working at ITC Infotech India full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None that i could find as i'm not working in ITC premises.
But i've got to hear from some colleagues that its nice to work in ITC premises

    Cons

i've been hired itself for a client position where the interview too was takem by the client. no connection from ITC managers. the client treats as a contractor and the ITC HR is least bothered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

employee interaction for those who work at client location needs to be significantly improved.
my fellow colleagues including me have a feeling that we are being neglected

I have been working at ITC Infotech India full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Freshers get a good start in terms of salary ( even better for A grade colleges). The first appraisal cycle adds a 50K to the annual CTC for freshers.
If you look forward to work hard AND learn, It can be seen as a good place.
Depends on the domain you get into. BFSI is great for onsite opportunities.

    Cons

Many a times, availability of projects in respective domains matter.
Non performers could be on bench for longer durations.
A lot of politics , freshers adviced to ignore if need to learn good work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Practices are pretty good but may be workforce should be retained .
Also, projects should become process dependent rather than person dependent.
Lateral freshers/ interns should be given equal compensation , at least better than the current standards.

I worked at ITC Infotech India full-time for less than a year

    Pros

work pressure is nil, campus is excellent, staff r friendly, management is homely

    Cons

managers r not equipped with latest technologies

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

a new, young and strong technical background leader must be hired and accompanied along with old manager who came from parent company just like in "Oke Okkadu" Arjun's telugu movie. He becomes surprise CM and appoints two ministers for each department, one old and experienced guy and another most educated, young and dynamic. then this company may become like TCS, CTS, Infosys and Wipro

I worked at ITC Infotech India full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    U get good onsite opportunities

    Cons

There are many, ranging from work culture to their in sensitiveness towards employees. Laterals might get some pay hike but the yearly hikes are appalling. Stay only if you see a onsite opportunity in the offing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the culture. From top level management, they seem to be working with a manufacturing company mindset instead of a IT company.
