Former Employee – worked at IZ-ON Media full-time for more than a year
Pros – There are some amazing people working there. Excellent personalities, very fun and sociable. I thoroughly enjoyed almost everyone I worked with.
Cons – When I worked there, there was a culture of rewarding obstructionism. The more one could make oneself a bottle-neck, the more the company rewarded you. There was also a really strong atmosphere of CYA and a pretty steel-grip on information. The company was also extremely top-heavy and would regularly give advancement to those in the upper rungs of the company while those on the "foot soldier" level were left in a lurch.
Advice to Senior Management – Start valuing the "bottom" of the ladder a lot more. Start looking for ways to throw open the shutters and allow for a lot more transparency.

Current Employee – been working at IZ-ON Media full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – there are bursts, but overall it'll be quiet; you'll learn something new, but after couple of months... stay if you just want to keep getting your salary
Cons – boring; super stingy under new president/ceo - lately even spendings on team lunches were prohibited; so that's it - boring and super stingy
Advice to Senior Management – they only take advice from Technicolor, so why bother?

Former Employee – worked at IZ-ON Media
Pros – A lot of great people in all departments who really care about what they are doing, and high stakes projects that matter to the bottom line.
Cons – Some of the biggest, most important customers can be difficult to work with, and it is not clear they can regain the growth rates they achieved in the past.

Mid-day work day Happy Hours.
Impressive holiday parties.

PRN has a solid place in the digital-out-of-home network.
Cons – Commuting (if you live outside SF)
Limited offices--mainly cubicle space

Former Employee – worked at IZ-ON Media
Pros – They have a really great health plan and a good work life balance. Decent location in downtown San Francisco on 2nd street
Cons – A very limited product line. Walmart is their #1 partner and has tremendous influence over the success of this business.
Advice to Senior Management – Diversify, digital signage is a tough sell. This company needs to expand its offering to compete in this tough economy

Current Employee – been working at IZ-ON Media
Pros – Friendly people that always seem available to help me when I need it, think there is a great future for PRN and the industry of TVs in retail, there are a really interesting variety of personalities with creative types that work in the dark (and do amazing work!) and engineers that keep to themselves and marketing and sales people. Nice occasional happy hours and such.
Cons – It's a little disjointed at times with the groups being so different from each other and having a hard time communicating with each other. Lots of meetings.
Advice to Senior Management – Management seems to change its mind about things sometimes.

Former Employee – worked at IZ-ON Media
Pros – In my five plus years working at PRN, I was never disappointed in the challenges and opportunities for doing great work, with great people, in the pursuit of important and fulfilling goals. There was a good deal of genuine innovation and a ton of outstanding, intelligent, fun and highly motivated people in that company. Still are, I believe, and good people continue to enjoy great opportunities for professional development. Some of my favorite colleagues continue to work there.
Cons – The company has been for sale for a couple years and hasn't found a buyer yet, and I believe that ad sales continues to be tough for everyone in that marketplace.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your senior management team and the people who are performing. They deserve to be heard, and their ideas heeded. If you don't trust them more than the whiners and malcontents (every company has their fare share), why are they there?
