I have been working at Ibiden

    Pros

Ibiden offers a great balance between work and family life. They respect each other, have good communication, and enjoy working with each other.

    Cons

The organization is rather small so not much upward mobility, however, if their is a position and you have the skillset, you can move.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please allow dedicated employees the ability and access to work from home if they desire.

  2.

A very traditional Japanese mindset with overt racial and gender discrimination.

    I worked at Ibiden

    Pros

I really enjoyed the client interaction and the working hard aspect. There is certainly a feel of productivity and quality focus.

    Cons

I've experienced and observed my colleagues receiving racial and gender treatments from the Japanese employees. Just as expected when working for a traditional Japanese company: If you are not both Japanese and male, expect your promotions possibility as slim.

I have been working at Ibiden full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You learn a lot of things @ first

    Cons

but after a while you realize its all there is... then it gets boring.. and there's a lot of paper works you can't make sense of. Employees make them because its required by the company but it isn't really making any difference to the company's welfare, and its just repetitions of those previously done edited to make it look new, and no one really cares about it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the best out of the professionals you hire.. a lot of talents are wasted because there is no proper training program given to them that would utilize what they learned in school..

    Neutral Outlook
