Advice to Senior Management
equal pay
Pros
Decent compensation (especially consider the workload)
Good work-life balance (if you are not in TP)
Friendly workspace, people care each other
Nice working environment next to Lonsdale Quay
Cons
Incompetent Senior Management - they need their subordinates to "explain" things in so many different angles with same information - hardly can interpret information themselves
Typical unionized workspace - things get down slowly and delays occur consistently
Admins are acting as babysitters - middle managers rely them on thing like printing their emails (why can't they print themselves and spend extra effort to forward, instruct, and wait the paper back)?
Advice to Senior Management
Understand the organization is under transformation, it will be interesting to see how they can improve the efficiency. These middle to high managements are very high maintainence and extremely dependent like a bunch of 3 years old kids.
Pros
Nice group of people, flexibility to try innovative approaches to the job, good training and professional growth opportunities, good benefits package.
Cons
Limited career advancement opportunities, salaries are fairly low, some employees have been there too long and have gotten too comfortable to contribute much anymore.
Advice to Senior Management
Work on attracting bright young things to the organization as the workface is aging at a rapid rate. Start with better salaries, perhaps?
