I have been working at Iconix Brand Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great company, in SMB market for cloud computing. Great technology, great people and a real "can do" attitude.

    Cons

The company was struggling when I become CEO and I brought in a new management team, but there were just so many legacy problems that we are having problems getting funding.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the funding is in place before taking over a company.

I have been working at Iconix Brand Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The size of the company is not that large therefore top level executives are accessible and work with each team.

    Cons

The company follows old standards of marketing and PR with a focus on direct-to-retail brands. Therefore the smaller non DTR brands lack the ability to reach full potential.

    Advice to Management

Some brands are purchased on the decline. Management should therefore invest more in the relaunching the brand perception.

I worked at Iconix Brand Group as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly employees, great work culture, learned a lot, everyone was always willing to help each other out, work/life balance was a huge plus for me!

    Cons

Communication between departments and/or floors was sometimes off. Each department consisted of only a few employees so it is difficult (but not impossible) to get promoted from within.
