    Pros

    They actually care about their on site employee. I wasn't going to get paid for almost a full month when I started working there so they advanced me after only working there for two weeks.

    Cons

    A bit far away, sometimes I feel like I don't really know who I am cites ted through.

    Advice to Management

    Higher level of interaction with the on site employees.

    Pros

    The salary is good, although you can be expected to work many additional hours in return. The benefits are fairly standard.

    Cons

    This is a family business with many family and friends of the family employed in positions of strength. Management is subjective and unlikely to provide feedback. Decisions will be made about your position based on rumor and inuendo. The culture is highly political, very catty - backstabbing is highly encouraged and rewarded. Favoritism is a popular pastime. Work-Life balance does not exist.

    Advice to Management

    For further growth, you must reign in some of these negative personalities and work on providing a less toxic environment.

    Pros

    Leadership listens to new ideas and strategies for improving the overall business. The company is in growth mode and it's an exciting time to be part of their global vision. Their is a positive vibe throughout the office based on all the new hires to support the mission. The company has many new directives which require hard work and commitment. The people are great to work with and willing to support the common goal.

    Cons

    None - the owners are supporting the long-term future of the company by investing back to the company.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in the future of the company. The company strives for a solid work/life balance and is generous to its employees. Continue on...

    Pros

    Average, to below average benefits. There are also many other bad contracting companies out there, which is their saving grace.

    Cons

    I work at a client site, but corporate does not make much of an effort to reach out to employees. Even when an effort is made, it is disorganized and disconcerting at best. ICS-Nett has pulled a "bait-and-switch" on numerous employees. ICS-Nett is cheap and DISHONEST! Like previous reviews have mentioned, they will promise raises or bonuses to string people along. Get everything in writing ahead of time and verify.

    Pros

    There's next to nothing good to say. Once in awhile they bring in food - Pakistani food.
    The best I can say for this employer is that it’s better than nothing for those looking to start a career or that need employment. By hook or by crook, they are growing. It is likely not a long term opportunity unless the owners get their hands out of things and bring in some capable managers to run the company like a professional corporation. Just be wary of what you're getting into and try to get some transferable skills out of it without learning too many bad habits or the wrong way to go about things.

    First in response to one of the previous posts - there is not fortune 500 talent here, or really anyone competent. Those running things haven't a clue.
    This is family business masquerading as a corporation. Don’t be fooled. Many of the employees are relatives and acquaintances of the owners and are border line competent. They work the politics to keep the status-quo so they can keep their hands in the owner’s pockets. Anyone that comes in with new ideas that will change or improve how things operate is systematically torn down. This place is not for you if you are structured and want to do things the right way.
    The credo is to sell capabilities and services that largely do not exist within the company. Smoke and mirrors. This amounts to false advertising. They will bring in subject matter experts to sell clients, use resumes of people that don’t work there, claim corporate experience based on an individual’s past experience at another company, then try to accomplish the work with sub par resources or subcontract it out to another firm. Then they take the credit themselves. Everything is very deceitful and border line corrupt, but of course they just see it as good, competitive business practice. Suffice it to say that any semblance of business ethics is lacking. They are bad people. I'm not sure they can keep growing with these tactics, but they are pretty good at moving around to new clients that don't know them. It's a shell game.
    The owners micromanage everything despite having little experience and market expertise in most of their advertised business sectors. They have to approve everything from hiring, salaries, raises, expense reports, travel requests. It is a very dictatorial type approach that plays well in cases where the employee does not have any better options. Qualified employees can of course leave, and most do. I have never seen a revolving door like this place. The work environment is very inefficient with an overall lack of structure and processes. There is a lot or screaming, yelling, and crying, then blaming the innocent. The culture is one of arguing and thrashing rather than working efficiently. The badge of honor is seen as long hours doing things over and over rather than doing things efficiently, accomplishing more, and avoiding burn-out. Experts are brought in and are relegated to being dragged into the mud by those with the power but not the knowledge. Ultimately they give up and leave when they realize the owners are idiots and the situation is hopeless - and when they don't get bonuses they were promised.
    One more thing - they put their employees (relatives) up to writing positive reviews on their company web site as well as on third party sites such as this one. So be wary. Check things out thoroughly.
    Don’t take anything for granted here. Ask lots of questions – down to minute details about how things will work, your pay, your benefits, bonuses, how the benefits and raises work, work hours, etc. Get everything in writing as part of your offer before you agree to work here. You will get screwed on your pay,any bonuses owed, you benefit plans, expense reimbursement, etc.

    Advice to Management

    When you bring in experts with years of experience and knowledge, get out of the way and let them run things. Go play with your toys and hair gel. Put your huge egos in the closet. You have gotten this far by climbing up the backs of others and stealing the credit. If you want to progress your business and legitimize it, it's time to run things the right way. Get rid of the cronies and family members and bring in some competent people that can actually do the things that you advertise.

    Pros

    Nothing about ICS stands out. It's yet another 8(a) on the beltway but if you work on site, you'll luckily never need to be bothered by them.

    Cons

    Expensive medical benefits. As an on site employee with the company, I feel like the company doesn't even exist. Little communication from the company. No corporate support from the company.

    Advice to Management

    Get out of your office and maybe visit your client site and the folks generating the revenue for your company? Your staff has no idea who you are.

    Pros

    A lot of excitement in the beginning due to promises of big things and deals in the works that you can be a part of. Everyone realizes a year later it was all BS.

    Cons

    Most people are foreign (Indian/Pakistan), working on sensitive projects and it makes you wonder how it is all legit. Women are second class citizens and bothered daily by upper management in the form of suggestive emails and quid pro quo. Turnover is high. Nobody lasts there after 9-12 months unless they are on an H-1 and then they're SOL.

    Advice to Management

    The honeymoon is probably over soon.

    Pros

    The company holds annual picnic for the employees and their family. The leadership really cares about the employees. Their HR group is one of the finest in terms of response and follow up.

    Cons

    Growing company means that there will be changes in the organization. Get used to the changes.

    Thanks for the leadership that you are providing.

    Decent pay rate and good health insurance

    It takes 4 weeks to get your first pay check. They made some promises that they could not keep.
