Former Employee – worked at Idea Integration
Pros – Great place to cut your teeth, build your resume and improve your skills. Excellent access to new industries and clients.
Cons – Work-life balance is non-existent. It's all about "billable hours". Manager's overpromise, employees do major overtime. Bonuses are rare. Instead, lots of pats on the back.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep your promises! to improve work-life balance, to respect compensation agreements (I was never given a raise I was promised after my stellar 4 month review) and support your employees with top-notch hardware. They are consultants after all, they need good equipment.

Pros – Salaries are good, 3 weeks paid vacation, work hours are mostly very flexible
Cons – there is huge discrepancy in compensation, just like most companies, you are not paid on what you do but how good you negotiated your salary
not much training opportunity
Advice to Senior Management – Be objective and leave Biased Opinions !

Former Employee – worked at Idea Integration
Pros – Latest technology and relationship with Microsoft and overall client base
Cons – some client based work are primitive and not matching with the skill of the consultant, just for mere sake of billing time the consultants are placed in wrong work and wrong companies
Advice to Senior Management – reduce the so called management staff and hire more technical consultant who make money, there are more non productive staff calling them as PM who does not bring productivity to the clients or companies but only cost to the company

Current Employee – been working at Idea Integration
Pros – Awesome projects. Projects are fast paced and packed with the latest technologies. Great compensation! Microsoft related projects are always large or medium in scale. Bonuses on billable hours is fair and lucrative.
Cons – Too much travel, But hey, it's technology consulting.
Advice to Senior Management – With all this technology we implement for our customers when can we reinvest in our own? Also, remember, Your consultants are your product you sell to your customers. Don't forget to helpout the consultants on the road!

Current Employee – been working at Idea Integration
Pros – Great people, lively atmosphere, room for individuals.
Cons – Recent Adecco acquisition ruined Idea. Adecco is focused on general staff augmentation. Idea was based on professional staff augmentation and turnkey projects.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow Idea t odo what it does best: turnkey software projects using the latest and greatest technologies.

Former Employee – worked at Idea Integration
Pros – Good benefits. You have some autonomy if you can handle the cons of working here. Great clients.
Cons – Management takes advantage of lower pay employees who are willing to consistently put in overtime. There is a "you're with us or against us" attitude from managers and employees are afraid to speak up. Billability and profits are more important than creative vision and quality work.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire new managers with outside agency experience.
