    Pros

The people are friendly and there is not a lot of drama here! There are often events thrown, along with great work/life balance, and the ability to work on things that you are passionate about. The company cares about their people, their growth, and happiness. Management is great with training opportunities and career advice.

    Cons

There is a lack of process which tends to make certain aspects of roles a tad bit redundant and not efficient. There are a few negative nancies that drive down morale when the agency is trying to rebuild.

    Advice to Management

Continue to rebuild the agency with even more innovation!

    Pros

    Unlimited PTO, Great Benefits Package

    Cons

Agencies are known to have difficult work-life balance, but Ignited is hands down the worst. Lack of process and support from management result in extremely long hours and little motivation. Employee complaints about their job is very common to hear throughout the day and reflect low-morale.

Each person will have their own perspective of their experience here, but I encourage anyone considering joining Ignited to do their research and ask any past employee about their experience and you will hear similar concerns.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with your team rather than overwhelm them with projects that take away their lives outside of work. Create a process to streamline work flow so employees don't waste their time trying to complete a task 20 different ways before getting it the way you want it.

    Pros

If you're truly passionate about your work and your contribution to larger projects, and you don't look for your employer to be your parent, then this company is a perfect fit.

Due to the loss of a very large entertainment client, it's true that Ignited has taken a morale hit (who wouldn't?). But, their response is the true judge of character. We're all rebounding together and looking ahead. The creatives are top notch and the client portfolio remains strong.

Right now it's a bit like double dutch: you need to be the type of person who knows where and when to jump in. When you do, those efforts are applauded, appreciated, and compensated.

THERES A HUGE OPPORTUNITY RIGHT NOW TO BE RECOGNIZED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Benefits, unlimited PTO, vacation, flexible schedules are all awesome.

    Cons

Structure and process are lacking, but on the upswing.

    Advice to Management

    Empower managers to enforce structure.
    More team building exercises.

    Pros

Unlimited PTO, great parking, minimal supervision

    Cons

Overtime is expected, no room for advancement, merit increases/bonuses are non-existent, no structure or processes in place, small client base, overwhelming workload with limited staff, no leadership team; only a few middle-managers who have very limited experience, high turn-over, low morale

    Advice to Management

Put your staff first, clients second.

    Pros

    -Unlimited PTO
-Nice office location with free parking

    Cons

    -Extremely weak management team
-Any semblance of leadership coming from the VP level was completely lacking during my tenure there
    -Very cliquey
-Disappointing benefits package considering it's an ad agency (health insurance plans were very expensive and seemed geared toward 20-somethings who never go to the doctor)
-Too many ridiculous HR mandated activities/projects that kept employees from actually getting real work done

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with some respect and compensate them for the work they do. Get a competent, strong management team who actually earn their paycheck.

    Pros

    - Unlimited PTO, health benefits (vision, dental, medical, life insurance), gym discount to Spectrum across the street, lots of sick days and holidays, cheap snacks and drinks, free yoga classes, travel/education/philanthropy contribution match programs, pop-up agency events, summer Fridays, amazing co-workers

    Cons

    - Senior management is messy, there's little structure and everyone seems to always be in a mad scramble. Claims that they are easily approachable since this is a private company, but very few of the ones remaining are approachable. Very few senior management left. Not even VPs.
    - President seems to only care and focus on the creative department.
    - Advancement is limited, especially with the loss of their major client.
    - Overworked, long hours, and never enough help. Work/life balance can be poor.
    - Salary for people looking to advance from within is not comparable to those who came from elsewhere
    - Limited client accounts
    - Employee turnover is high - largely from low pay, long hours, poor management
    - Not every team, but some teams seem to be more individualistic instead of collective
    - Unlimited PTO is fairly limited

    Advice to Management

    - Diminish employee turnover by concentrating on benefits that employees truly care about (see Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs) rather than trying to blind employees with SOFA activities/benefits employees can't realistically take advantage
    - Hire help to save those who are still around, before they crack and drop out too
    - Regain employee trust. Many have expressed their frustrations, complaints, distrust, and dissatisfaction for the way HR and senior management has been running ship.

    Pros

    - Located on the edge of El Segundo--basically Manhattan Beach--near restaurants, retail stores, movie theater and beach
    - Discounted gym membership across the road from office
    - Unlimited vacation days

    Cons

    - No leadership (6 of 8 senior executives have left so there is no existing management, just lots of junior employees and a handful of qualified middle managers)
    - Small client roster with only one large client keeping the agency in business
    - Few opportunities for training and development outside of yoga and meditation classes
    - Rock-bottom morale due to loss of business, absence of management, lack of transparency, high turnover, backstabbing
    - Poor communication across departments despite small number of employees

    Advice to Management

    - Create new mission for the agency to address continued lack of direction
    - Seek out new business rather than investing in pet projects that have little to do with what most of the agency does
    - Re-staff digital technology development team--Ignited may be only agency that has moved away from digital over last few years
    - Replace HR leadership that has lost trust of employees
    - Layoff remaining employees with consideration and professionalism if staying in business remains viable
