    Pros

Free meals, staff is young and very fun to be around. Great locations so the place is always very busy

    Cons

Managers like to micro manage their employees. The restaurant slows down dramatically during the summer and early fall

    Advice to Management

    Stop micro managing the employees

    Pros

As far as the restaurant industry goes, the work here isn't too physically taxing. It's borderline fine dining, so a lot is expected of servers when it comes to detailed table service. In turn, the clientele tends to tip very well.

    Cons

The blatant favoritism between management and certain employees is the worst I've seen out of any restaurant I've worked at. If you're in the managerial fold, expect to make loads of cash. If you're not (even if your just as good, if not better, at providing good service) then expect sections that won't dole out near the same amount of dollars.

    Advice to Management

Better balance is needed in the alotment of money-making sections. Don't ignore your workhorses who are really good at their jobs because you would rather shower your few favorite servers with attention. This is people's income you are dealing with.

    Pros

-Amazing colleagues at the corporate office. -The size of the company allows you to really own your work and see the affects in real time. -Fun atmosphere that promotes community and Italian culture. -High touch leadership and opportunities for growth.

    Cons

-Sometimes there is resistance between the restaurants and corporate office.

    Advice to Management

Continue to draw on the skill sets and motivations of the staff and promote from within.

    Pros

Good money, nice staff and nice customers. Has a great view and when it's busy there is a lot of opportunity to make a lot of money. Also has great looking people coming in.

    Cons

Not the best management, management went downhill starting from the head chef and general manager. Miss old management

    Advice to Management

Bring your passion back, and treat your staff better. Corporate management should learn to care about the people that are making them money, it doesn't make sense that the CEO is the only person who comes to the restaurant and greets the employees and shakes their hand. That little gesture increases morale a TON. This does not pertain to the President Beatrice or the CEO Hislop, they are AMAZING.

    Pros

My manager only lets me work weekends (sat and sun) 9:30-3:00. My tips can range from 30-70 from one shift. Usually reflects on if it's busy or not. Free food and drinks. Get to meet a lot of people, such as the CEO.

    Cons

Manager doesn't let me get much time off so I can go home since I am away for college. I would love more hours.

    Pros

Very flexible with vacations and time off when needed. Informative meetings to learn more about wines and cocktails. Great regional monthy menu program for diners.

    Cons

Can be stressful during holidays. They don't allow overtime. No raises given after years of work. Vacations are not paid.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and quality service focus. Try to bring in paid vacations. Try to bring back 5 year accrued bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to take risks and make changes, its the only way to be a path finder in the industry!
