    Pros

Great place to work. Comes with great benefits and great vacation time. The university cares about its employees

    Cons

The University has some issues with interdepartmental communication. Of course this will happen anywhere but for the most part there aren't too many cons

I have been working at Illinois Institute of Technology full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you're an undergrad majored in engineering, IIT is definitely a good school to consider. IIT provides a lot of opportunities for undergrads to get involved with research through the try-outs in the lab, senior research projects and academic seminars and conferences. It also give people the chance to get in touch with the industries in the early stage through company sponsored or involved R&D projects.

    Cons

Some issues may also cause concerns about this wonderful school. First is the limited budget: it may not be an uncommon issue for many universities in America in these days, but limited budget does affect largely on both research and student life from the outdated equipment to the outdated school facilities (like the gym). Second is small and outdated library: the small library in the main campus can hardly satisfy students who're in need of large amount of knowledge for researches, although the iShare system across the campuses in Chicago can make up for the disadvantage to some extent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers of the school, in my humble opinion, need to think about how to allocate the funds in the most efficient ways. For instance, it might be better to use the limited money in updating the school labs and student facilities than renewing the safety patrol cars multiple times

    Pros

The working environment is just fine. The staff are kind. The transportation access is convenient. The grass is green and the sky is blue.

    Cons

I will not suggest anyone to work here. The school locates in the ghetto, so that the people here always suffer robbery.

    Pros

Difficult to move up in certain groups/divisions; usually have to make laterally moves. HR is almost non-existent and supports only the company not the employees.

    Pros

It has decent pay, some jobs are above minimum wage and they allow students a flexible schedule for classes and such.

    Cons

The customers can be pushy and depending on what your customer base is some of them can be tedious to deal with. Overall the campus patrons have the best intentions.

    Pros

good very friendly i like the environment
Young Management, So they have a liberal attitude towards common problems faced by fresh graduates. Training is done by professionals with at-least 5 years of Experience in the required field. Pay-Stub is very good and getting paid on time makes it even sweeter. Absolutely NO-Contract and absence of other such mandatory time-bound commitments

    Cons

no cons Excellent service outstanding experience. I am pleased to say that pro-tek did a great job for me in recruiting for a position which was challenging to fill. The employees at Pro-Tek consulting were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and walked us step by step through the procedures that needed to take place. I am so grateful to them and look forward to continuing to work with Pro-Tek in the future. They helped job seekers like me to move forward with the career.

I have been working at Illinois Institute of Technology part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

University setting has its benefits with free access to gym and multiple restaurants on campus. Good wifi and library facilities. City setting - Lots of things to do over the weekend. University setting makes it a nice international cultural setting with inclusion of ALL.

    Cons

Given that IIT is primarily an engineering school, the education department does not get enough promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wish the insurance benefits would be available to graduate research/teaching assistants instead of the student insurance which does not cover much.
