    Pros

The salary was great, as were the benefits. That was the only thing that would have kept me in that company.

    Cons

The management is ridiculous. When I was interviewed, I made it clear that it had been a while since I had last underwritten, and that I was not comfortable being placed in the Senior position right off the bat. Guess what? They placed me in the senior position. Instead of helping me acclimate to the systems they use (which I had never used before), the manager would ignore me when I asked any questions and go on to joke around with the same two ladies. All day. Every day. By the end, they wanted me to approve a loan although it was obvious that the applicant was not even REMOTELY qualified. So they "let me go" because I was not performing up to par, and had a low turnout rate for files. It was hard to meet even the MINIMUM quota when the manager would ignore any and all requests for: more work, since I had finished my pipeline; a question about the workings of the systems that I have NEVER USED BEFORE (as I stated during my interview). So, when the monthly report came through, it showed that the five files I had completed in the span of a month and a half were perfect, but I was not doing enough work - not by my choice, he never put any files in my pipeline. Their management is ridiculous, as is the blatant favoritism that was shown throughout the month I was there.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that know how to do their job instead of spending their time flirting with the employees. The amount of times I had to ask that man to spend five minutes with me (which was met with "Oh, let me just put my things down and I'll be right there!") to explain something, only to be blown off the whole day was ridiculous.

    Pros

They offer good compensation and benefits.
