    Pros

ive never had to meet my supervisors, i am essentially my own boss. Flexible scheduling,

I dont know what everyone else is complaining about, obviously youve never worked at mcdonalds. i have 40+ hours of regularly scheduled service calls, plus home installs and store resets.. im constantly busy. im also the only tech in a 300 mile area.. that helps. i never tell my company no when they ask me to go above and beyond and they respect that.. if you go into it like a real job where your pay is based on your work ability, and ur not just an idiot, you can do well here..

    Cons

scheduling issues - sending me 100 miles for one store then another 100 mile for another store in the same town. could have done both in one day. but other than that i love my company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get better company cellphones.. mine is officially an antique

    Pros

flexability for daily duties. varing types of jobs and duties to complete. ahead of the competition on the technology side.

    Cons

uncertain business trends for future growth lead to an uncertain personal growth potential. gaps in the growth ladder make it difficult for internal candidates to grow with the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

works towards a more stable, year round business model that allows for personal growth within the company. that is it.

Former Employee - Field Technician in Overland Park, KS

    Pros

Field Techs had some freedom as to scheduling appointments which was nice and workorders were fed exed to home address along with extra materials that weren't drop shipped to appointmens

    Cons

When I was initially hired we were reimbursed for mileage but after several months they changed policy and no longer paid for travel with few exceptions. During busy season you could expect to be away from your home/family for days on end. Company was extremely slow in paying for work completed and errors were commplace on paychecks. Management was constantly changing as were company policies. Pay structures also changed lowering our daily pay as well as special project pay after the first several months

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better pay and working conditions will keep better employees around longterm. You need to weed out less deserving employees and protect your better employees not cut there hours and pay while adding on mopre and more techs who do shoddy work
