I have been working at In-N-Out Burger part-time for less than a year

    Pros

As a starter and as my first job, I get great pay, free meals on break, and get to meet great people.

    Cons

Managers are a little passive when I casually report a conflict with another associate (example: another associate will rudely boss me around as well as rudely be sarcastic with me when it is only a managers place to explain what I should be cleaning up and so forth. The manager lets it happen). Some co-workers are not very accepting and rude; they always try to get me in trouble/written up. Applied for a part-time job asking for at least 18 hours a week - scheduled for one day a week, sometimes only for three hours.

I worked at In-N-Out Burger part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The pay above minimum, some co-workers

    Cons

Not a lot of training, co-workers and managers can be extremely rude, customers constantly treat workers with disrespect and you actually have to put up with it with a smile on your face, being told to constantly smile and talk with a high pitched influx in your voice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actually try training your workers not just sending them off having no idea what to do.

I worked at In-N-Out Burger part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The atmosphere is laid back compared to other jobs. Easy to get time off if you need a flexible schedule.

    Cons

Management is so young, and so flaky. Lots of playing favorites, lots of partying with associates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Choose your managers wisely, focus on their behavior more inside AND outside of the restaurant.

I worked at In-N-Out Burger part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

In n out burger allowed me to grow professionally and personally with flexible hours and proper training. Great team environment and mostly good management that enforced the commitment of high quality service.

    Cons

This is definitely a team work heavy job and often times if you get a fellow associate or even manager mad, they will push more of the work on you.

    Pros

    Good pay for younger people
    Energetic place
    Flexible schedule
    Nice associates

    Cons

Keep you longer than scheduled often
Not good for long term career

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more reviews on how employees feel about their managers. Some of the managers don't seem to care about the employees and fail at communication.

    Pros

Very flexible hours, great benefits and pay. Awesome coworkers and company culture. Best job to have during college. Looks great on resume.

    Cons

A bit stressful. The job is very physically intensive. There is a larger focus on inventory and following many policies.

I have been working at In-N-Out Burger part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great company to work for compared to other fast food companies. Pay is above average, culture and atmosphere are fun. You move up in rank easily (which comes with a pay increase), are rewarded with parties when your store meets goals.

    Cons

Hard to become a full time worker, due to them being required to offer health benefits after a certain amount of hours. As part time you do get dental and vision though.
