    Pros

It is a prestigious job. It gives a lot of good experience in terms of work system and procedures. It is the best place to work for those who are systematic, sincere and organized in working. Bad for lethargic and undisciplined people. At the same time professionalism and sincerity does not often pay as much is individualism, groupism, manupulation and office politics.

    Cons

There is not much consideration is given for one's hard-work and sincerity in terms of promotion and monetary benefits. It is highly mobile job. Transfers are done every 3-4 years which is difficult for family and children.

    Advice to Management

Management should take care of honest, sincere and patriotic people, put honest efforts to retain them and give better opportunity in the organisation.

    Pros

Huge Multi Cultural Place with a huge scope to learn everything. Good people below you and some of them very sincere makes your life easy.

    Cons

Bad Management. Yes Sir Three Bags Full Sir culture. No place for a sincere hard worker. Relies too much on personal opinion of the boss, rather than on performance.

    Advice to Management

Golf players and Party animals are not the only good people. 80% of the promotions go to such people and the rest are left to die. I have seen some excellent hard working people getting thrown out just because they were not close to the Boss.

Differences between officer and airmen such as british and Indian”
When britishers complied to leave INDIA they went out but a gap among Indians was created and the Person Responsible was from a high Profile I can’t name it. Then after the Air Force, Navy or Army was reorganized but with long gap in Men and officers. The developed and developing has a since I should not indulge in as known by all but this has created lot of entry working conditions and it has comp ailed a person like me to serve for Air force 20 yrs and back home. Lot of technical knowledge and experience was added in my profile and leaved like a true airmen with full respect to my work and devotion but in dreams I use to see a sergeant is flying an aircraft in US is not ® not in India. Rest all ok no Probs.

    Pros

If u want to join airforce as airmen u have to vanish ur expection of respectful life.....except this everything is ok like sallary....

    Cons

A unique organisation where 01 year of Flying Officer is too matured than 35 year service of Airmen..........very wonderful !

    Advice to Management

We should learn something from US airforce to fill the gap between officer and airmen...why so much airmen are leaving service in early age...It is ultimate a big loss to our nation.......
