    Pros

The Bank has a very good name among customers all over India for very good service rendered to customers.Hence acquiring new business was never difficult in various branches.Being a South based Bank with more branches in South India, customer support was very strong in all places where I have worked

    Cons

Getting additional staff in branches with very poor staff strength was always difficult.Superior officers working at administrative offices were always assuring giving additional staff but rarely honoring their promises

I worked at Indian Bank full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Participated and contributed my share towards overall improvement of the economy by changing the lives of the downtrodden people. The brand image was kept high among the citizens of India wherever I had worked.

    Cons

Whenever you do your job nicely, you should think of working more smartly than working hard or hardly. The job praises you when you have given the best.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Potential performers should be identified and suitable roles have to be assigned for long term sustainability.Only, the micro level workers not employees contribute willingly for the overall growth.

I have been working at Indian Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You come in contact of a lot of people......experience a lot of situations and get to visit your country a lot closer than possible in other jobs. You get to deal with the Rich as well as the Poorest. you get to nourish someones dreams and you get to grow along with that dream.

    Cons

Comfort, impossible, tired, ( the words should be scrubbed from your dictionary). you will be called to achieve the impossible with the most meager of resources that you can use to accomplish the task and nothing but the most exemplary may receive appreciation. If you get peanuts as reward or even the means to do your job consider yourself lucky.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in touch with the basic business concept that only money spent can earn you profit......ruthless cost cutting only puts the business in the vicious circle of degradation and employee morale which can be improved by better perks and postings can also play a crucial part in increasing profits. Know Thy Priority and save time for business.
Spend some money and increase profit.
listen to innovation and new ideas and get a boost.
