Indian Hotels Company Graduate Engineering Trainee in Mumbai (India): (Current Employee)

“Manage entire hotel operations, maintenance, systems, electricity and water distributions, all equipments present.”

Pros

-Good exposure.
-Get a chance to hone leadership skills.
-Highly responsible and answerable position.
-Great training.
-Even tough this is an entry level position, the level is of Executive rank.

Cons

-Low Salary.
-You are stuck in one profile, after this you can work only in hotel industry and progress as Chief. Engineer. That is it it stops there. GM and Director posts are not possible.
-Work pressure is too high.

Advice to Senior Management

Increase the salary structure. This will help keep the retention rate high.
