    Pros

I have joined the Bank in the year 1979 as Agricultural Officer.Customer service was very good in eighties and nineties.Eroded the fineness with the mechanisation process

    Cons

Customer service is becoming poorer day by day.no body cares to read e mails and reply.requests/informations not given properly.total lethargy in CUSTOMER SERVICE .A NEVER MIND APPROACH.unauthorised debits in accounts.

    Advice to Management

Unless and until there is a customer friendly ambience in Branches, growth prospects are bleak.Quality of Banking know how to be improved drastically at all levels.

    Pros

PSB gives job security, no tergets as in private banks, but got to implement government schemes channeled through banking.

    Cons

poor posting policies, poor training quality, salary hike is fixed, stagnant work profile, slow career growth, dissatisfying HR policies.

    Advice to Management

Work on upskilling employees and gives those who are already upskilled through their own efforts a chance to work on better profile.

    Pros

The organization has a good culture and the nature of back biting or anything like that is not among the employees. The staff members are very helpful to each other and try to help out in the best way they can to their fellow staff members. Promotion policy is good.

    Cons

Some cons could include: A bit overage employees are predominant in the organization with most of them having good experience to share with but a good number of those are just lazy and dont know any work. They pour all the work on the juniors and this sometimes becomes very hectic and irritating. Regarding Salary and allowances the bank has almost the lowest allowances as compared to other banks and in probation period the allowances are even much lesser and the work is more. moreover new officers have to sign a bond on 1 lac for 3 years service that is unfair in my opinion. Transfer policy is also bad as suggested by my seniors.

    Advice to Management

Please be a little gentle to employees. Too much pressure and work diversion is not good. Please try to increase some allowances of officers atleast so that they dont think about leaving this organization.
