    Awesome !!!

ProsYou learn a lot..There is no restriction to learning here. If you can cope up, you can take more than one project here.
The frequent workshops, courses and invited lectures will give you a world view of research..

ConsExcept the Institute Internship (advertised by ISI for applications,i.e., not by mailing the Professors), no typical stipend system is there. Also, the stipend amount may be increased a bit more (like 7000-7500 INR in IITs).

Advice to Senior ManagementStipend system should be there for students working under the Professors in different projects. Also, the stipend amount may be increased a bit more (like 7000-7500 INR in IITs).

ProsI am enrolled as master's degree student with Indian Statistical Institute. The environment is great and students get an enhanced exposure to what research is. At the institute students are taught to work with many types of tools, which provides them enough competency to gain formidable positions and designations with the possible employers.

ConsThe courses offered are totally focused on research stuff. At times proper and correct interpretation of things become a bit difficult.
