I have been working at Indiana Regional Medical Center full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

IRMC was a wonderful place to work. There was very little separation between staff (i.e. nurses communicated well with lab staff, etc.). The morale was great and every one looked out for each other. I still go back and visit when I can and I haven't been employed there for over two years. Also, the fact that it is still a stand-alone hospital makes change very easy.

    Cons

Same as any hospital - time-off was hard to come by, hours were tough, holidays. But, we all know this is what we signed up for as health care professionals. Equipment and software is out of date, but they were working on it when I left.

I have been working at Indiana Regional Medical Center full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits for both full-time and part-time employees; generally nice staff in all departments

    Cons

Considerably short staffed constantly; cut-backs and forced time off to compensate

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
