Pros

I worked at a Chapters store and I loved it. They where well organized, management gave each employee a 5 minute meeting at the beginning of every shift to go over : changes, new products, positive feedback, creative criticism and to answer any questions.

Most staff was knowledgeable and friendly and worked together. They often promote from within, and they make it possible to transfer to a different store if you move.

My manager was very considerate of needing time off for family or school, but he made sure that it was done fairly. People without family and school obligations still got time off if they wanted it.

Cons

Wages could be more in line with other employers. Then again, this was 3 years ago that I worked there so maybe they are.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to the ideas that come from below. Some of them are really good!
