I have been working at Inductotherm as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

Great pay, good people, constant work. There isn't any down time.

    Cons

On occasion the long hours, most of the time sixty hours a week can interfere with family at first. You learn how to work around that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I do not have an opinion here because the company has been doing this a long time and it seems to work.

  2.

Good company, good projects, lax supervision.

I worked at Inductotherm as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

The projects were regularly varied and interesting. I interned there for 2 years and there were always new things to work on, shakers, furnaces, wiring diagrams, the list goes on. They take care of their employees as well.

    Cons

You must be a self-starter at this company or you will become bored. At least in my internship experience I was not expected to do much, it took me habitually going to my superiors and asking for more projects in order to receive more interesting work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A bit more communication with workers would be helpful. I found it difficult to get in contact with my superiors and when I did I had a hard time getting a clear project goal.

I worked at Inductotherm full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

outstanding Profit Sharing plan. Great group of co-workers. advancement opportunities abound. The CEO and the former CEO are fantastic; very smart. Tuition reimbursement is great. Tuition free to Rowan University for 4 years for your children is the most wonderful benefit

    Cons

low initial pay. Pay raises come slowly, only once per year and rarely keep pace with inflation. Technology is lagging behind...need better computer systems and programs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

merit pay raises should be common for the best workers, not an exception rarely used
