Industrial Defender Reviews in Calgary, AB Area

Pros

Industrial Defender is an up and coming player in the Network security industry. They offered me significant hands on learning opportunities due to the variety of IT Projects. The management was very understanding with allowing me time off, and occasional alternative arrangements when I needed more time off than I was given. There is good communication between Management and staff. The work environment was fairly casual, they provided free drinks and occasionally other company outings such as BBQs or parties. They are near LRT lines. There are opportunities to travel with the Services (installations) type jobs. I would work for them again.

Cons

Tight budgets. Because of the company size often the budget rules over some interesting or ideal tasks/projects. I'm sure this will change as they grow however, the management has a strong grasp of "Right Sizing" projects.

Advice to Senior Management

Invest more in your people, give them a budget to work with so they can make the best changes they can think of.
