    Great Intern Experience

Machinery Design and Construction (Former Employee)

ProsGood Mentoring, People here are nice and always willing to help each other; There are a lot of things you can learn, if you throw yourself into the group.

ConsThe working environment here is highly self-motivated. There is not so much push from management.

Advice to Senior ManagementProbably, it is the time to establish a systematic intern training program to attract more talents to stay for career.

    They don't care about you!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    New Boston, MI

ProsGood insurance, decent pay for an hourly worker. Not sure what salaried people get. The concept of the work is easy.

ConsMy biggest complaint is they make you work EVERY day- no days off- and you end up having to work a lot of 12 hour days because of their inadequate staffing and cheap equipment that doesn't work half the time, then they try to make it look like it's our fault that we have to work all this overtime. When you go to HR for a problem she looks at you like you're wasting her time. If you miss a day for ANY reason, even if you have to go to the ER for a life threatening problem, you get a point.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet your humanity back, show some compassion.

    Great work environment, Competitive Industry

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsStructure not too rigid, dedicated employees, management is open to new ideas and approaches, fair compensation, good benefits, ability to grow within company.

ConsHighly competitive industry, Plastic Omnium could enforce a more rigid corporate structure going forward that might place the interests of the French parent company over the interests of Inergy.
