I have been working at Inertia Beverage Group full-time for less than a year

Pros – I've never seen a company that is so proactive about empowering it's people and not just saying that it's some HR ploy and that they "care;" but a company where the president is incredibly accessible and actually gives you 1 on 1 attention; from past experience thats just unheard of. Coming from a background where its mostly a dog eat dog environment the focus on leadership and personal & professional growth has really blown me away-- I'm just so used to Senior management that yelled at you rather than awarded you. It's a breath of fresh air to know that a company like this actually exists. The people are fun, the environment is fun. life is good

Cons – Sometimes the leaders who are leading our workshops aren't really prepared; but that is about it. I also wish we didn't work that weekends that's annoying every now and then. But I get it, it's a retail environment you can't have your cake and eat it too.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep on Keepin' on. It's awesome.

Pros – The people are easy to get along with and generally helpful and supportive of each other. Management is a mixed bag but employees are alike in allowing employees to use their own initiative and work in their own way. Room to stake out the work you're interested in. Occasional free wine.

Cons – Lack of follow through in supporting some products and services. Poor communication throughout company. Not likely to provide much exposure to other businesses outside the wine industry.

Advice to Senior Management – Employees need to feel empowered, secure and part of a larger mission. Management has not always been communicating to support this.
