- Very different level of competence among different HR-Groups
- Promotions based on 'fussy' criteria
- Poor knowledge IS
- Job content too different between HR-Groups (from IT to strategy), linked to a strange/ poor market positioning
- Niggardly boss !
Advice to Senior Management
- Provide clear market positioning
- Equalize levels between HR-Groups
Pros
Ineum is a great company, with a lot of potential for national and international growth. It is one of the management consulting companies where senior management really cares about employees (although of course there are notable exceptions).
Ineum is in the middle of a reorganization to sustain its international growth. Therefore this is a place where opportunities for the next 2 to 4 years will multiply.
Generally the quality of the people is excellent. They are all skilled professionals, and Ineum is able to leverage people with real experience in their industries, so that they know what they are talking about with the customer, not like some companies that grow all their talent pool internally, think they know the business of the customer but actually only know some slide-ish theory.
Cons
The Brand "Ineum" does not have the same level of recognition internationally that its larger competitors enjoy. And the name sounds a bit awkward.
Advice to Senior Management
Do less delivery, focus on business opportunities.
Setting up a good knowledge management system is not hard. Please, do it.
