    Pros

They treat you like adults and are flexible if you need to miss work for appointments, etc. The environment is relaxing yet very productive. The perks of free lunch and a beautiful building also help.

    Cons

Communication between manager and employee is inconsistent at times. Not a clear path to advance in some roles.

    Pros

Lot of freedom to be creative in putting together solutions. Very casual. Free lunches, soda. Friendly staff. Company is privately owned and very open with employees about finances and the direction of the business.

    Cons

Terrible health benefits for families. Intense work demands odd hours often. Pay is generally a bit below market. Pay days on 15th and last day of month.

    Advice to Management

Better health benefits and more focus on work / life balance would help keep good employees

    Pros

Laid back environment, highly talented and passionate individuals, flexible telecommuting policy, middle management actually cares and provides lots of value, free lunch every day (really), generous PTO, the CEO actually cares about the Mission Statement more so than the bottom line

    Cons

Clueless HR department, career advancement is a slow process without much support, health care benefits are sub-par

    Advice to Management

Work on career growth with employees better. It's important that employees don't feel they've peaked early in their careers. The HR department needs to be more approachable.

    Pros

Lots of great software development lifecycle experience. Casual workplace. Flexible telecommute policy. No outsourcing of development resources. Good for employees with families due to flexible work schedules in some positions. Lots of volunteer opportunities. Genuinely doesn't try to rip off the customer.

    Cons

Inexperienced management. Underdeveloped HR department which lacks key documentation and policies.

    Advice to Management

Improve career opportunities for employees. More important than a free lunch. Develop HR policies and communications.

    Pros

Infinite Campus is an awesome place to work...Very laid back environment, Casual Dress but Professional Atmosphere. No micro management and a very zen atmosphere. Free Lunch, a climbing wall, Koi pond and free beverage stations throughout office, HSA, FSA, Childcare benefits, Free consult A Doc benefits and generous PTO (that they actually want you to use!).Yearly pay increase and family friendly.

    Cons

The Health insurance is High Deductible so that gets spendy if you have health concerns or a family--Each individual has a deductible of a few thousand so even if one person (adult)meets individual deductible the child's office visits are still spendy

    Pros

Perks galore! Lots of opportunity for growth. Not corporate ladder growth, but personal/professional growth to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

    Cons

Disconnect between departments. Need consistency and direction from senior management.

    Pros

I've worked at Infinite Campus for more than a year. One of the best things about the company is its family friendly working environment. Every company has crunch times but at Infinite Campus these are kept to a minimum. Flexible work hours, the ability to telecommute when needed, and a generous vacation policy make it easy for young families.

The company also has strong commitment to helping the community through providing a superior low-cost solution for schools and by an active volunteer program.

The diversity of the company's workforce is also a plus. For example, the company has a greater percentage of women software engineers than is average.

    Cons

The company is privately held and there's no ESOP or ESPP.

Health care coverage is good but co-pays can be high.

401K match is good but the vesting period is lengthy and the 401K provider's fees are high.

    Advice to Management

Implement a ESOP and find a new 401K provider.

    Pros

Free lunch is a nice benefit and the golf tournament is fun. If you like to climb on the rock climbing wall then that would be considered a benefit. Also if you like to look at fish they have a fish pond. Really, really casual dress. CEO wears shorts and sandals.

    Cons

Anti-sales company, CEO and other management folks really don't like sales and thinks the product sells itself. Pay is well below industry standards. No marketing, they had a great marketing direct then moved her to a different position.

    Advice to Management

Treat sales people with respect and don't say negative things about them in front of the whole company.

    Pros

Infinite Campus is a very supportive environment where the managers actually listen to your ideas and give you their support to implement them. There is plenty of opportunity for those who apply themselves and seek out their niche in the company. Tons of perks and a culture that promotes work-life balance make this a great place to work.

    Cons

If you're looking for someone to hold your hand and guide you through "the ranks" then don't bother. This is a place for proactive and creative people!

    Pros

Anyone looking to join the technology industry needs to look into Infinite Camups. I am so happy to be involved in an organization that encourages a fun, healthy workspace. The company has a great feel to it, very "googlish."

    Areas I Nurture:
    Continual Professional Development Opportunities
    Open Environment for Conversation
Young Company that embraces changes in the field
    Self-Management

    Cons

Career paths and guidance are not layed out.

    Advice to Management

There are lots of areas to advance within this company, however, you must be determined to make a name for youself.
