I have been working at Infinite Computing Systems full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    The employees are very nice.

    Cons

    Dysfunctional office environment.
    Fear of communicating with owner
    Very low salary
I reluctantly accepted this job after refusing it once and the owner and recruiter contacted me to defend their reputation. The pay was low but I accepted it anyway. I don't think anyone is really happy to be there. They are just "stuck" with the company until something better comes along. I wish all the employees well but the owner is not a healthy person.

I worked at Infinite Computing Systems full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. They pay on time.
    2. Pretty good at marketing.

    Cons

    1. Pay is really very less.
    2. Please take all experience letters or any relevant letters for future use before quitting the company. After you quit you WILL NOT get any co operation. Your phone calls/emails will be totally ignored.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Please try to maintain good relationship with former employees.
    2. Would be excellent if the president resigns. He is very unprofessional and does not respect his employees (present as well as former). I am of the opinion that the other managerial titles like the Vice president, HR, reporting managers etc are puppets and the puppeteer is president. They cannot take any decisions on their own.

I worked at Infinite Computing Systems full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The people that work there are wonderful, aside from the President. They are knowledgeable, willing to help you out, and mutually understand the pain of working there.

    Cons

The president of this company is the only one right in the room even if he is wrong. He toes the line of legality and is very good at covering his tracks. Everything is disorganized. He likes to keep everyone in the dark about what their coworkers are doing, so no one ever knows what's going on. In addition to this being the most stressful place you could ever work, your also end up paying for it. The "benefits" that are offered are a joke, and he is supposed to pay 50% of medical and you pay 50% of medical but the truth is the employee pays between 80% to 100% of insurance. Run away from this company you will not be able to stand the drama, unprofessional behavior, or illegal activity that goes on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice to the Board is to replace the President of the company because he is single handedly running the business into the ground. If he actually wanted to hire people he would stop being so cheap and give people what they are worth and not haggle them until they feel they are getting a terrible deal and walking away. I have personally see at least 10 candidates go through to final interviews and leave mad about what the president offered them and never come back again. If he doesn't hire his sales person soon this company is going to continue to fail.

    Pros

There is nothing good in this company. Not even the office location.

    Cons

    - management forces you to work for more then 9 hours a day. At the end of the month they will force you to come on Saturday's to complete your pending hours.
    - If you worked extra 9 hours then you can avail only 50% comp off.
    - No projects or Clients.
    - Management are expert in False promises.

I have been working at Infinite Computing Systems as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They somehow manage to pay me.

    Cons

They don't understand their US contractors that work on their behalf at major companies.
They offer no training or real support.
The only contact with them is by email and that is very rare.
They simply don't care about their U.S. employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make at least some effort to show that you value your employees in the U.S.

Leave this company as your last resort

Former Employee - Consultant in Cedar Rapids, IA

I worked at Infinite Computing Systems as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The environment is extremely informal. Employees are informed about the what they are expected to deliver and the deadline, but that's about it. If you value being unsupervised most of the time, this might be worth a try.

    Cons

The pay rate is extremely low, people are asked to perform tasks that have absolutely nothing to do with their position or background, management has no idea of what they are doing but still force their input into projects, there is no respect for employees. Morale is obviously very low and turnover is ridiculously high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some help. Attend some management courses. And stop being cheap so you can attract talent and keep it in the company.

    Pros

Many things to learn in terms of technology
    Good exposure to face client

    Cons

Management is very poor, worst working culture.
People are forced to work to achieve non-realistic deliverables.
They need donkey workers, your personal life will always be at toss.
Every rule is forced onto employees against money, if any rule is broken you have to pay money which is nonsense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay some more attention towards working culture and to retain employees. Employees have their own personal life, respect that.
