I worked at Infinite Energy part-time

    Pros

There is nothing positive to say about my time with this company.

    Cons

Management is very mischievous and exercise preferential treatment. There exists a lot of backstabbers. It is a depressing environment as darkness surrounds your time there. Lots of drama exists in that department. It feels like the middle school years getting called into the principals office for just about anything. There are spies among you and a sense of humor cannot be exercised without always offending people who share the humor with you and then turn around and complain to upper management. They preach culture and value and they don't have culture and value. It is not what they make it seem to be. You are hand-selected by the way you look, act, and the walk you talk.

    Advice to Management

Be real, less hypocritical and come off your high horse for goodness sake. Life is really short to be so presumed with nonsense. Get to work and let people work instead of playing police.

I worked at Infinite Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not sure about other department. I work for T&D, very talent colleagues, young and ambitious director. Very cutting edge technology we are using, continues improvement. Good friendship with peers, and you can learn exponentially especially if you are entry level.

    Cons

Extremely underpaid and sometimes visions are unclear.

    Advice to Management

Hard working developers sometime have to stay until midnight to get software release, should at least provide some pizza and drink for dinner. We need more recognition and reward.

    Pros

Very informal dress, free coffee, nice gym, great parking and upbeat environment.

    Cons

The main con is the job itself! SERIOUSLY! If it wasn't for the actual job, this place would be a great place to work! If you are a sales rep, get this through your head: You are a telemarketer and making FREEZING cold calls to people who do not want to talk to you!!! They say "it's not telemarketing because we research our leads." Yeah, right! They tell you to call anyone and everyone who has gas service- period! You will be treated like the telemarketer that you are! Hang ups and rudeness all day long! I totally understand that you are reading this and really need a job, however, keep in mind, if you take a sales job here, you probably won't last very long. I wish I would have tried to get an admin job here instead. I didn't even last 3 months in sales. It was awful. The cold calls really wear on your soul. The only people who seem to thrive at this job are people who don't have good social skills and don't really have any other job options. If you take this job, you better keep looking for another job b/c if you don't meet your quotas they WILL fire you. If you're interested in a career in sales and need a reality check, this place is for you! Also, you sit at a desk all day long and most of the people in the call center are freaking weird! You will see what I mean when you get there. Don't worry, it will probably be very temporary! I wouldn't have kept this job if it paid $20/hour. OMG.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with people. This is a telemarketing job so stop telling people it isn't.

    Pros

Great culture and management who cares for their employees. Company encourages health and have many incentives in place to meet those goals.

    Cons

Room for growth is always on everyone's mind. In certain departments , there isn't much room to grow unless the department decides to expand.

Keep doing what you're doing. Continue to listen to your customers and to your employees and there is no doubt this company will grow more.
