    I worked at Infinity Insurance full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits, vacation time builds quickly, salary moves up quickly for claims adjusters. There have been good profit sharing bonuses lately. The training was pretty good, but there is still a lot of learning on the job. Co-workers were pretty good at helping learn how to handle claims.

    Cons

    Demanding work environment. Non-standard carrier, so non-standard insureds. Turnover can be high. This is a field whether you are made for it or are not. Some people can do the job, but a lot can't. People either leave in two years or stay forever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Not a lot of information comes down the line. Changes are made with employees moved to new managers without much explanation.

    I have been working at Infinity Insurance full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good learning system. Good benefits

    Cons

    CEO is out of touch with field operations and clear unethical practices taking place. Upper management is turning their head to taking advantage of insureds

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Interview insureds on Customer Service. Understand why an insured withdrew their claim or were they harassed into it.

    I have been working at Infinity Insurance full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    * good benefits
    * longer lunch
    *laid back environment

    Cons

    The only con is that the work is repetative and gets kind of boring by the middle of the day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They need to fix the way they train in the classroom. Role playing would be good, instead of just having everything crammed in all at once.
