I have been working at Info Tech full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Info Tech provide and open and friendly atmosphere that is really conducive to being productive without a lot of stress. The company has been around for over 35 years and is going stronger than ever before. The benefits are amazing, the is great (probably better than average in Gainesville) and the owners are extremely easy to get along with and know how to run a company. There are 250+ employees and even though we don't all know each other that well, we all get along quite nicely.

    Key Points:
    -----------------------------
    - Great Pay
    - Great Benefits (health, dental, life & disability insurance, PC reimbursement, profit sharing, etc...)
    - Great Atmosphere (laid back, friendly, & productive)
    - Stable Company with a family-focus (38 years in business)
    - Info Tech donates to charity (March of Dimes, ARC of Gainesville, Cade Museum Prize, etc..)

    Cons

The building is kind of dated? Not really a con... my personal office is cool.

Current Employee - Don't Have Titles in Albury (Australia)

I have been working at Info Tech part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

As a small local company, no overseas travel or long distance local trips are required. All work is done in the local region. Some local travel, mostly limited to Albury / Wodonga is required. Hours are reasonable. Everyone is easy to get on with. Everyone is easy to get on with.

    Cons

Being a small company means everyone needs have a solid grounding in all all the basics of the currently supported versions of Windows desktop and server operating systems. You need to be able to visit a customer's site and fix problems mostly by yourself. (Can phone the office for tricky problems but should be able to do all the basic stuff unassisted.) Some jobs need to be done out of hours. (This is normal in IT.)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep going.
