I worked at InfoCepts full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Work Life Balance and placed in Tier II city Nagpur. Some of the folks are good. They knwo company potential but have hands tie up to take it to next level

    Cons

    A lot of them:

    a) They will recruit you by promising something else and then make you sit in a boot camp and learn MicroStrategy and work as a Developer

    b) They will never keep the promises made to you. Lot of politics by senior folks in the company and you have few of the employees who moved form Cognos to Microstrategy and think can they can do everything. Some employee dont have their own personal life and they will tell you that you also screw up your personal quoting own example.

    c) Your core skill-set will never get valued.

    d) False promises are made by each and every manager in this organization

    e) HR department is the worst. None of the things are carried on time specially appraisals. Reasons given to you would be CFO is on leave, Management is on Leave, Shashank is on Leave. My question is "When appraisal process is dependent on these persons then why the senior folks take leave". If the management itself does not adhere to the policies then how can they expect lower level employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dont spoil career of young turks. They join your company by the promises you make to them. You dont adhere to any of those and not say that we are expanding and growing. This is not good You dont respect the qualities and core skills which an employee has and just make him sit in a bootcamp with no career path for him.

Some of the employee themselves dont have personal life and they dont want their sub ordinates to have personal life...If this is so why do you have "BALANCE RESPONSIBILITIES" as your core value... If your Consultant and Senior Consultant can't follow them then dont have it. Look into this issue.
